Ricardo Davila
Ricardo (Ric) Davila joined Jenius Bank, the consumer digital banking division of SMBC MANUBANK, in May 2021. He holds the distinction as one of the first three colleagues hired at Jenius Bank, managing the design and implementation of all operations organizations, fraud strategies, vendor onboarding, and governance programs. In his capacity as Head of Jenius Bank Operations, Ric oversees the digital bank’s fraud, contact centers, deposit operations, loan operations, communications operations, and business continuity. As a member of the SMBC MANUBANK Management Committee, he maintains a focus on delivering a superior customer experience for the digital bank while optimizing its operating costs.
Prior to joining Jenius Bank, Ric worked in senior leadership roles across top financial institutions including Ally Bank, Capital One, and Bank of America. In addition to laying the groundwork for Jenius Bank’s online platform, Ric has also been instrumental in building online capabilities for two fortune 500 companies and holds five patents to make banking a better, more transparent customer experience.
Ric is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY.
